ABOUT US

Welcome to Berkhamsted & District Angling Society

Certainly! The Berkhamsted & District Angling Society is a longstanding club that has been around since 1933. If you enjoy the simple life of silver fish fishing, this is an excellent mixed fishery for you. They offer various types of fishing, making it an ideal place for beginners to learn with a pole or rod while relaxing in peaceful surroundings. For more experienced anglers, there are Carp available as well. Their waters contain prize Perch, Carp, Tench, and other species, ensuring an exciting fishing experience. Membership runs from June 1st to May 31st each year. 🎣

 

If you’re interested in match fishing, as a member, you can participate in regular social matches and test your skills alongside other anglers. For upcoming match events, check out their website.

 

Here are some of their waters:

 

Bridego Pond: Located between Leighton Buzzard and Cheddington on Great Train Robbery Bridge, this small lake contains a good head of Carp, Crucian Carp, Rudd, Roach, Tench, and some Bream. It’s a lovely spot with scattered lily beds.

Cublington Pond: Situated in a farm with secure gated access, this pond is mostly stocked with small Carp and has a nice head of Rudd. It’s great for catching a large number of Carp, making it suitable for beginners or those returning to fishing.

Water End: An exciting new pond currently in development. Stay tuned for further information!

Our Waters

BRIDIGO

Bridego Pond is a small lake located between Leighton Buzzard and Cheddington on Great Train Robbery Bridge. The lake contains good head of Carp, Crucian Carp, Rud, Roach, Tench and some Bream a lovely piece of water with lilies beds scattered around the lake.

CUBLINGTON

Cublington Pond Situated in a farm with secure gated access,mostly stocked with small Carp with also a nice head of Rudd. A great day for catching a large number of Carp, great for beginners or those returning back to fishing.

Binghams

Mixture of Tench, Roach, Crucian Carp, Bream, Perch and Carp.

Only float fishing allowed at the waters, newly opened on the 1st June 2024
